The World Economic Forum publishes annually the Global Competitiveness Report and ranks countries based on the Global Competitiveness Index. This index integrates the macroeconomic and the micro/business aspects of competitiveness into a single index, assessing how productively countries use available resources and the ability of countries to provide high levels of prosperity to their citizens.

Index of Economic Freedom

The Index of Economic Freedom is an annual report and ranking created by the US-based Heritage Foundation to measure nations’ degree of economic freedom based on factors separated into 4 categories: rule of law, limited government, regulatory efficiency, and open markets.
