Every year the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) publishes the QS World University Rankings, looking at a broad range of university activity as indicators including academic peer review, faculty student ratio, citations per faculty, employer reputation, international student ratio, and international staff ratio. QS World University Rankings is viewed as one of the most widely read university rankings.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings

Times Higher Education World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by Times Higher Education (THE) magazine. The publication comprises the world's overall, subject and reputation rankings, alongside two regional league tables, Asia and BRICS & Emerging Economies. Overall indicators include industry income - innovation, international diversity, teaching - the learning environment, research - volume, income and reputation, and citations - research influence.

PISA

This large scale cross countries assessment aims to evaluate worldwide of 15-year-old students, near the end of compulsory education, performance in the field of varied domains, such as reading, mathematics and science.
